Her research focuses on cornea regeneration and the development of biomimetic biomaterials for regenerative medicine. In this Curiosity Capsule, Dr. Griffith discusses how she led her team in successfully regenerating the world's first human cornea using biosynthetic implants, how she is working towards solving the global problem of the shortage of human donor corneas, and her vision for the future of biomaterials engineering in Canada and beyond.
